My name is Monica.
I'm on a journey, a daily journey of leaving behind the hustle and bustle, the busyness, and the over-stimulation of modern life.
My dream is living out in the country on several acres, tending chickens, enjoying goats, picking green beans, baking bread, and raising a big family.
My journey has me striving for my dream while living in the current moment. That means I'm homesteading, gardening, canning, and making cold process soap while working a job and taking care of a house, a husband, and three active dogs... all from my suburban house.
My suburban house is the type of house I'm trying to get away from in my dreams.
But I am a big believer in making the most out of each stage in life.
And my life has me caught up in the hustle and bustle and even some chaos.
So I'm striving toward more peace, more simplicity. I'm striving toward a renewed way of life.
I'm leaving behind the toxic chemicals. I'm leaving behind the processed and convenience foods. I'm leaving behind the full-of-chemicals body products. I'm trading it in for an investment of time and a return of health.
Here I'll share real food recipes, easy recipes for household cleaning products, tips and tricks for homesteading, and my line of all natural and organic soaps and household products.

For us, simplicity is about striving for a way of life, something more peaceful and serene in both lifestyle and mentality. We hope to pass this on to you- in safe, multi-use products which tend toward a more efficient way of cleaning and running a house, to information- ways to transform stress and chaos into a calm state of mind. We've all experienced how a calm state of mind changes perspective and the way we handle what's in front of us.
